Childhood
The years of innocence are our true anchors in judgment. So many of the things we learn later, during youth and much of our adulthood, are guided by animal lunges for power and advantage. But it wasn't always like that. It need not be like that. In our childhoods lie the answers to our most important questions. We should be aware that our minds work backwards as well as forwards. There is a good reason we were designed like that.
